Last night I ended up working a couple hours of overtime. We’d just gotten a bunch of Pogo sticks in and they were all broken. Something must’ve happened during shipping which caused them to get damaged, which meant that I had to fill out a bunch of forms to send them back to the vendor. For month we’ve been having problems with this guy and I don’t think it was an accident. He’s been miffed with us ever since we decided to start paying him considerably less, and lately I’ve been thinking that I might have to stop dealing with him altogether. He’s been more trouble than he’s worth for quite some time now, but I really don’t want to fire anybody this close to the holidays.
By the end of the night I ended up sneaking off to catch a couple minutes of sleep on our brand-new nap mats. To my surprise these things were kind of comfortable, and before I knew it 45 minutes had passed. I realized that I wasn’t going to get everything done that I wanted to, but I figured that I would just take care of it early the next morning.
