Tom Martin Charles Ifle, hypnotherapy expert, says the brain’s ability to remember can be trained by oneself. As described in his book titled Big Brain Big Money, there are several ways you can apply when reading the books you love. Following ways, according to Tom, a method of self hypnotherapy:
1. After selecting the books, imagine the outline of which will be explained book.
2. Prepare stationery, pens, and notepads. This equipment can help you record information in the memory longer.
3. Then write down one thing you want to get from reading this book. Do you want to read it and it can solve your problems today. If that is what you want, begin writing a desire to help you understand the message of the book you choose. For example, write, “I want to get an idea how to improve the quality of the mind”. By knowing the purpose of reading books and writing, mind and your brain will focus on and start recording the message of the book.
4. Before you start reading, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and relax your eye muscles. Say to myself, that you will read the book in five minutes, and convince yourself that the book could provide lessons for improving the quality of your thoughts. That is, ask yourself reading the book to achieve the desired objectives and has been written before.
5. With the eye muscles are relaxed, open your eyes and start reading. This can make reading more leisurely activities. Always sit upright while reading and enjoy this event.
6. After the first five minutes, stop reading. Begin to use stationery that had been prepared earlier. Write an outline of the contents of the book. This will train the imagination dramatically.
7. Leave your little note, and come back to read. In between the time to read, record the important ideas that you find and give the bottom line on every idea that you consider important. If you do not want to dirty books, then write down the important ideas. Or, give a sign on the pages containing important information according to your post by posting it, for example.
8. When finished reading, close the book, close your eyes, and rates for three times deep breath. A relaxed mind the focus of attention will focus on reading experience and train your brain to record information, with the help of small notes that you make yourself at every stage of reading.
